virtualIOP=1 may cause build issues

I am trying to build an IOP model with virtualIOP=1. I am using the same IOP model that was run with with ADC/DAC cards with external clocks, but just replacing the no_sync=1 control block parameter with virtualIOP=1. I am getting the following error,
