When filters are switched while ramping, it leads to a massive step

If a filter is in the middle of ramping on or off when it is switched, the filter will "skip" ramping and switch immediately, causing a massive step output for a filter that should be ramped.

Daniel suggests simply reversing the ramp. This would keep the output value continuous but would reverse the first derivative.
