External tools may use this library. I have heard of, but have not seen Python scripts that automate DTT. They could just be writing commands to a `diag` instance, but they may also be loading the library. The users will want access to some of the bug fixes in DTT.

What I suspect is that scripts load this dll then directly write to the gdsmsg command or the parse command.

Accordingly, we will release a fork of libdtt called `libdttcds`. This will essentially contain the whole diag program. Instead of statically linking to the object libraries, `diag`, `diagd`, `diaggui` will all link to this library. |
