segments-web queries fail silently if no flag version is checked

If no flag version is checked on the 1.0 version of segments-web, clicking "Retrieve segments" fails silently - it neither retrieves segments nor prints a message notifying the user of the issue. If unaware of the cause, a user may think the page is broken or frozen.

Suggested: Have a pop-up window or message on the existing page notify the user that they need to check a flag version box before a query can be submitted. (In discussion, Gary said that this should be a fairly easy fix.)
