gwcelery deployments not getting recorded in gitlab

In Environments under Production, it shows that the latest deployment was 4 years ago. Why are deployments not being continuously updated and recorded here?

I'm not sure why they are not recorded there, but we currently do deployments to production via manual actions in the CI/CD pipeline: https://git.ligo.org/emfollow/gwcelery/-/pipelines/518930

Deployment to playground occurs automatically here and emfollow-test requires manual intervention directly on the server.

Unless there is an argument to move away from current CI/CD deployment model to using Environments, I think we can close this.

We are using environments, the problem is that they are not showing up in GitLab.
