Description of distinction between p-astro probabilities and EM-Bright probabilities
The description of the distinction between the probabilities provided by p-astro and EM-Bright needs to be provided in the Userguide. This includes the fact that the EM-Bright probabilities assume that the event is astrophysical and that p-astro has rates-based factor included in it. This will also mean that p(BNS) + p(NSBH) ≠ p(HasNS)
for all cases. This needs to be specifically highlighted. It should also be highlighted that we will be providing PE-based EM-Bright and in the near future PE-based p-astro. There too these numbers (p(BNS) + p(NSBH)
) will not add up to p(HasNS)
.
It is mentioned in Alerts content that the source properties computation assumes that the trigger is not noise based. Instead, specifically use the word "Terrestrial".
