Acknowledgements in the documentation
If you use this software in a product, an acknowledgement in the product documentation would be appreciated but is not required.
and I am very much a believer in crediting people for their hard work so I say that it should be a requirement for us to acknowledge (for example)
tinyexpr in the documentation. I have mentioned that we use
tinyexpr in the module docstrings of
cyexpr.pyx, but we should have a dedicated page for acknowledgements anyway.
Other software (that we rely upon) licenses will probably vary a bit (e.g.
KLU, which we depend upon heavily of course), so it's worth keeping track of everything we need to acknowledge and how to cite them here.
As to where these acknowledgements should go, I think we should have a separate, standalone page (in the sidebar / tree) for this.
