- Leo: Slide 8, is P(theta) derived from 2D histogram in slide 10? Basically collecting background triggers but limiting duration?
- Andre: Yes. Issues like not all glitch triggers are gonna be inside glitch trigger histograms, clean triggers will have glitch triggers.
- Leo: Additional LR repo for larger SNR and lower chi^2 case?
- Andre: Yes cause we expect signals to be there. Many other dimensions that can be added.
- Leo: How did you define in/out of duration?
- Andre: GravitySpy glitches have a variable duration associated with them which is larger than the glitch most of the time. That duration is needed to make the spectrogram.
- Sarah: What is the plan with glitch injections - what sort of injections, functionality and timeline?
- Andre: Haven't done any. Weeks worth of data/run with 1 injection every 90s.
- Rachael: Longterm. Final product will be dependent on results of the study.
- Sarah: Working on glitch generator which is almost completely reviewed. Focused on blip, but adding more classes in 2 months.
- Rachael: We could use Gengli
- Chad: Nice to have GStreamer pipeline to generate glitch time series. Take Gengli, write python GStreamer element to generate glitches and add to time series with gstlal_added.
- Rachael: GravitySpy data is snippet of the raw h(t) data
- Chad: Do we really need injection studies?
- Shomik: Could you do p_of_ifos and dtdphi terms if you're doing multi-detector studies?
