BayesWave --version reports incorrect information
The BayesWave --version
option reports the wrong information when the executable was not built from a clone of the bayeswave repo. Specifically for conda builds the parent repo is the conda-forge/bayeswave-feedstock
repo, and the code is pulled in from the release tarball, so we end up with this:
$ BayesWave --version
========= BayesWave Version: ========
Git remote origin: git@github.com:conda-forge/bayeswave-feedstock.git
Git version: f58b9e4
Git commit: f58b9e436c8fa6ccf50a31e47d76780e5a39b1d5
Git commit author: Duncan Macleod <duncanmmacleod@gmail.com>
Git commit date: Thu Mar 14 14:04:29 2019 +0000
Command line: --version
It would be nice to just have the following output:
$ BayesWave --version
1.0.2
or similar.
