* A ./configure macro checks that memory layout of C99/C++ complex types are identical to the old LAL complex structs. If true, each .c file can then chose which complex datatype to use - C99 or LAL - while being able to call code defined in another .c file which may have used a different complex datatype internally. * If LAL_USE_OLD_COMPLEX_STRUCTS macro is not defined (i.e. by default), use C99 complex datatypes. Define macros for constructing C99/C++ complex numbers, and accessing/assigning real and imaginary parts. Macros use some GCC extensions where available. - this replaces direct user-input of spin-ranges, and allows to handle cases where the spin-range is unknown a-priori, eg when loading template bank from grid-file (--gridType=6 option) - passes 'make check', but hasn't been checked for the new functionality yet - fixes #345 (hopefully) Original: 9794f2029e9bb99aea055cb2af0d84c8417e2202

- this will be used to generically store the 'spin-range' (ie ranges in Freq, f1dot, f2dot, f3dot, ...) spanned by the template bank. - for most cases this will be the search spin-range input by the user, but for certain grids (eg loaded from file), they will be determined only here. - refs #345 Original: 547c02151ef5f225dac0f02ec622784ed1266b68
