All lalsim MRs that we need are merged now. That last one was this !1265 (merged)

From oldest to newest I think these are all the MRs since the last lalsim release which I got by looking at the list of lalsim MRs (https://git.ligo.org/lscsoft/lalsuite/-/merge_requests?label_name%5B%5D=lalsimulation&scope=all&state=merged) since the last lalsim MR which I think is !1176 (merged)

@adam-mercer and I have agreed that all backwards-incompatible releases will be accompanied by a bump in the major version number - this is a departure from the previous versioning system.

We'd like to have !1266 (merged) included in a new release. However, that touches lal as well...

I am about to make a merge request for a possible required bug fix to lalsimulation - The MR should be ready in the next hour. If people agree then I would like this future MR to be included too

If this gets merged then we would want this I think but I'll get back to you once people have looked at it.

If things are still getting added anyway, !1268 (merged) could also be included. But it's only documentation layouting fixes, so not critical.
