Compilers builds not running in nightly scheduled pipeline

It looks like the builds using the various different compilers are not being run as part of the scheduled nightly pipeline, only as part of the merge-build pipeline.

The rules need to be updated so that these builds run as part of the scheduled nightly pipeline.

For example it looks like a recent update to gcc-12 has caused a build failure and it'd be nice to get alerted to this during the nightly build.
