Set up off-site backups of lvalert database
This is a migration of Redmine issue #2209.
Original Description (2015-06-12):
Just use mysqldump and logrotate like on GraceDB. And then make sure the directory gets picked up by the backup machine.
Update:
I (@alexander-pace) had made copies of the databases on lvalert and lvalert-test for the purposes of migrating to new Debian 9 servers. They're not backed up automatically, or at an offsite location. Currently they're backed up on gracedb-test, but this should change.
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
