# Deriving constraints that can be used to constrain the BH mimicker parameter space

Currently our bounds are powerful in terms of searching for non-BH signatures but are not useful in constraining the parameter space of BH mimickers due to the strong assumptions that has gone in. There are two scenarios where this test can yield bounds that are more useful for theoretical community

|
|
* Test the BH nature of the BH that has a lower limit on spin that excludes zero, assuming the companion (whose spins are badly constrained and for which kappa will be badly measured) to be a BH.
|
|
|
* Use those BBHs for which have useful constraints in the kappa1-kappa2 space and combine these two dimensional posteriors.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Both can yield meaninful constraints on the BH mimicker parameter space, though the first one is more restrictive in some sense, but may yield stronger constraints.
