Info to be added to error message

Could you add something like

(the process may have run out of memory on the machine it was running)

to the error message

Omicron::MakeDirectories: the output directory cannot be created

to make it more explicit?

I do know (and have rediscovered several times) this can happen but apparently I keep forgetting...

Or perhaps you could find a way to separate the two causes of this error message and to display different error messages for each cause.
