RCG expects incorrect usage of "site" to mean "ifo" in cdsParameters block
Throughout the CDS system the variables SITE and IFO are used to indicate the observatory site (e.g. "LHO") and detector (e.g. "H1"), respectively.
However, the RCG cdsParameters
block expects a parameter named "site" to be specified, but it expects the value to be what is otherwise known as "ifo" (e.g. "h1"). This is confusing.
Furthermore, if the "site" parameter in cdsParameters block is set incorrectly, the RCG produces the following confusing error message, referring to an "ifo" parameter that does not exist:
***ERROR: Model <ifo> name part does not match cdsParameters: x1, tst
