The Data Acquisition Daemon (daqd) and its supporting software receives data from the real time system, archives it to frames, and allows it to be read out via NDS.
## Installation
This is an informational point. The daqd gets installed as part of the advligorts-cymac package.
The daqd is installed via packages. The main package is advligorts-daqd.

## Services
The daqd packages install three services.
1. rts-daqd - Reads back live data + archiving of data
1. rts-nds - The NDS service is involved with reading back archival data
1. rts-run_number - Run numbers call provide an optimization for the NDS system
## Configuration
