Maintenance will be performed on git.ligo.org, containers.ligo.org, and docs.ligo.org on Tuesday 30 April 2024 starting at approximately 9am PDT. This MR effectively reverts the changes from !1150 (merged) and !1151 (merged) that activate the new environments during build.py. This code is slightly convoluted and shouldn't be required, but was introduced to work around a bug in the libarrow activate scripts that has now been resolved.
