Sky map comparison between GW-GRB failing to launch when a subthreshold GW candidate
There's a fundamental flaw with the current implementation of the comparison sky map workflow with RAVEN, which assumes that a sky map will eventually be copied over to a superevent and indicated by a SKYMAP_READY
label, which no longer seems to be the case for subthreshold GW candidates. Either this requires changes in this workflow or orchestrator.py
.
Here we have an example of a subthreshold GW event that has a coincidence that never launched the sky map comparison, and therefore never launch an alert: https://gracedb-playground.ligo.org/superevents/S230303an/view/
