Define variables for issue 179

Austin Jennings requested to merge austin.jennings/locklost:define_variables into master

Camilla and I have added <= for the if statements that was giving the error listed here: #179 (closed) After running the through the events, it seems to have done the trick. The test also checks out too and it passes.
