Monash GW Tools versus Tupak
From recent discussions on slack, it sounds like some of the Monash GW Tool functions are being used inside Tupak, for example, nfft and infft. There is discussion of changing these functions in Tupak, e.g., in order to resolve discrepancies between different FFT conventions.
This is a good time for us to make a decision about where these tool functions should live. We can move everything to Tupak and make it easy to download Tupak>Tools. Or, we can take these functions out of Tupak and make Tupak dependent on Monash GW Tools. However, we cannot afford to have two code bases, with identically-named functions (e.g., nfft) with different conventions. This will cause problems down the road.
Other functions that are relevant to this discussion: gaussian_noise, snr_exp, etc.
This issue is based on discussion at GW Group Meeting on 180420.
