BUGFIX: CBCWaveformGenerator: don't access hidden enum
@gregory.ashton this should resolve the issues seen in bilby_pipe!462 (merged).
I also added some tests that should make sure this functionality remains unbroken.
Maintenance will be performed on git.ligo.org, containers.ligo.org, and docs.ligo.org on Tuesday 23 April 2024 starting at approximately 9am PDT.
