TEST: add test run unit test
We're seeing downstream CI failures that rely on the Dynesty._run_test method. This MR fixes that method for the new sampling methods.

Maintenance will be performed on git.ligo.org, containers.ligo.org, and docs.ligo.org on Tuesday 22 April 2025 starting at approximately 9am PDT.
