BUGFIX: set queue_size from kwargs to change npool while the run is in progress

When loading the resume file, the queue_size is not updated as supplied in the configuration file. It prevents to increase the npool while the run is in progress. Please check here for further details.

I'm not sure why the other test failed, this is a new failure for me, hopefully it is just a transient CI runner issue.
