Unify the default parameters with those required by sources

Gregory Ashton requested to merge unify-parameters-and-source into master
  • Removes instances dict (@colm.talbot, is this okay?)
  • Removes obsolete sine-wave parameters
  • Rename some parameters for consistency
  • Add latex_label attribute

@colm.talbot, I've assigned you to look over this as I think you wrote the original code. Please feel free to revert changes or update on this branch til your happy then merge - just so long as the basic tutorial notebook works.
