Would it be possible to add this into the PyMC3 sampler implementation, which requires mappings to the different priors? If not could a check be performed in pymc3.py that raises an exception if you try and use this prior when PyMC3 is the sampler?

Can you give a full definition of this? I'm not sure exactly how to interpret minimum/maximum. What is p(0)?

@matthew-pitkin, I think pymc3 already has such a check (if there isn't a prior mapping)? I took a look and it at least seems that way to me.
