Remove deprecated functions/classes
I bumped into the PriorSet class which has been deprecated since probably v0.0.2 so decided it was time to follow through on some of these. If people would rather stage this, I'm happy to open another MR saying explicitly that these will be removed in the next release or 1.2 and then merge this in later.
