Maintenance will be performed on git.ligo.org, containers.ligo.org, and docs.ligo.org on Tuesday 22 April 2025 starting at approximately 9am PDT. This MR closes Automatically upload wheels to PyPI (#250 - closed) by patching the deploy_release CI job to use python-build to create a binary wheel as well as a tarball, and then upload them both.
