Non-standard timestamps in gstlal-{ugly,inspiral}'s debian/changelog
Rather by accident I found that the last few timestamp lines in debian/changelog don't follow the standard that requests two blanks between email address and weekday, e.g.
Alexander Pace <alexander.pace@ligo.org> Thu, 25 Jul 2019 13:53:03 -0700
instead of
Alexander Pace <alexander.pace@ligo.org> Thu, 25 Jul 2019 13:53:03 -0700
(gstlal-inspiral 1.6.7).
Debian has been quite tolerant in this regard, but I've seen invalid dates causing issues in the not-so-far past. This one seems to be a ticking bomb.
@alexander-pace: Please make sure all entries follow the expected structure, or we'll run into problems sooner or later. There are tools that "get it right at first shot", like dch
(aka debchange
).
