Hierarchy of priority labels is confusing (to me)
@karl-wette, I am finding the hierarchy of the ~"priority::bugfix" (and friends) scope label set confusing. Ideally we want this to be a linear scale that translates to 'highest priority' down to 'lowest priority'. At the moment I think this is roughly (high->low):
- ~"priority::failure"
- ~"priority::bugfix"
- prioritywishlist
- ~"priority::rejected"
- prioritywontfix
Can you confirm whether this is right?
It's also unclear to me whether ~"priority::bugfix" is a label for issues or merge requests; the 'fix' suggests the latter which seems contrary to the others in the scoped set which are all clearly issue labels. If this label is effectively priority::bug
I'm not sure how it is distinct from priority::failure
.
Does it make sense to simplify the priority scoped label set to something more like
priority::urgent
priority::normal
priority::low
Or is that an oversimplification?
