lalburst: python 3 update

Description

  • now that python 3 is required, some clean-up can be done
  • remove "u" flags from string constants in XML I/O paths (all strings are unicode in python 3)
  • remove "from future import print_function" everywhere
  • drop DictMixin compatibility code
  • adopt the "yield from ..." construct
  • update some neglected comments here and there
