Replace numpy.object with builtin object
Description
This MR fixes compatibility with numpy >= 1.24.0 by replacing the previously-deprecated-and-now-removed numpy.object
with the builtin object
(of which the former was an alias anyway).
This should present absolutely no functional changes.
