CI: ensure job lint:authors fails if "make update-authors" fails

Description

The lint:authors job is supposed to check that .mailmap and the package AUTHORS files are kept up-to-date. Unfortunately due to a bug in f6d28053 the job wasn't actually exiting with a non-zero status when .mailmap/AUTHORS were outdated. This MR fixes the bug and updates .mailmap/AUTHORS.
