The install directory shouldn't need deleting when changing shared modules
Done: We can use a new function in a shared module (e.g. gstlal-spiir/gst/lib/flag_segment/flag_segment.c
) and build without deleting the install directory.
In !146 (merged) I ran into a build issue. If you change some shared library, like gstlal-spiir/gst/lib/
, and use it elsewhere, you'll often see an error like undefined reference to <shared function>
.
It seems like it's finding the .so
file in the install directory instead of the source directory. That's probably a mistake somewhere in our cuda makefile, or configure.ac.
Maybe we're using a relative path instead of an absolute one somewhere.
