Add gamma_v's

Sylvia Biscoveanu requested to merge sylvia.biscoveanu/stochastic_lite:gamma_v into master

This MR implements the geometric gamma_v functions that are needed for searches for parity violation, based on Eq. 8 of https://arxiv.org/pdf/0707.0535.pdf. I am open to suggestions on what to call the polarization for this, other than what I'm currently using of right_left.
