Starting an additional file for channels NOT added to main list

We discussed this idea on a previous call but didn't converge on format specifics. Since I had a few channels to document based on #41, I figured it was a good opportunity to propose a format and start the list. Happy to change things or move info elsewhere; this is not urgent.
